Piping flowers is really delicate and requires you to adjust several factors at once. The speed, strength, and angle of your wrist all need to be perfectly in sync with the buttercream to create a beautiful flower. It's definitely challenging at first, but once you get past that, the beautiful results are what makes it so appealing.

At first, many online videos and tutorials may seem very easy, but when you try to follow them, you'll realize that there are quite a lot of gaps. Don't get too discouraged if it doesn't work out the first time. Everyone has had a “first time” where they were clumsy and not good enough.

I thought it would be a good idea to practice the basics on a flat piece of paper to familiarize yourself with the unfamiliarity of piping before trying to pipe a complex flower. Start with the basics and practice them over and over again, adjusting your wrist angle, pressure, and speed.

As you practice, you will gradually come to know the various feelings of piping, and you will be able to adjust the strength and speed of squeezing the cream better. It may not seem like much at first, but it's important to start somewhere, and keep practicing.

Print out the practice sheet, insert it into a transparent sheet protector, and practice on top of it. After each practice, simply wipe off the cream and repeat the process.

Have a wonderful and flower-like day today~
